I had read on Chapter 13 regarding vehicle you keep, they have what they call a Cram Down- which if you owed the car over 910 days the car is to be valued at fair market price, I am paying Ford Motor Credit full amount and before the bankruptcy I was paying 12% interest on a car bought at $16,500.00 back in 1/2002 after paying my interest I should of paid all the interest due, now on my bankruptcy I am paying 7.39%, what Ford showed on what was still owed I was not advised that the amount given was higher. I feel that my lawyer wasn't doing the job that needed to be done for our sake it is a racket for the auto maker, we are giving them money when in turn they are ripping off the consumer.

I now I'm wanting to turn this car in and was told we needed to do a amendment, which I have not recd or heard back from my attorney, I have left several messages and not one reply back. Then I called to see what the payoff would be and I am still getting the run around no calls back, but if I stop paying my payment boy I would be in deep trouble I thought legal Helpers is to help people when they are needing help, but all they are doing is helping thereselves, charging interest on trustee fees. This firm is such a joke.
