I feel everyones pain if you ever worked for Covenant.My story is alittle different then most but the outcome is still the same.I worked for Covenant from Dec-07 till Oct-08.I spent alot of time sitting no loads no miles and no one who cared.I was waiting for that $2500 bonus Ha!Ha! more like $1600...There were many and i mean many weeks i went without pay but i still stuck it out.Went through 3 Partners who left the company and stuck it out..

I always had a hard time getting home so i was forced to drive my own car from chatt to michigan everytime i wanted to go home...If i wanted to take my truck home $250 charge....So i always put in my homrtime at 12 midnight because i still had a 10 drive to Michigan.More money out of my pocket!!!!!!

In Oct 2008 the day i was going to take my hometime they made sure i was no where close to chatt...after running all day i stopped for the night around 4pm when i received a call from home that my father suffered a major stroke and that he was'nt going to make it so i needed to get home ASAP...So i tried many attempts over the Qualcomm to contact dispatch,and never got a response.

finally i called them and told them of my situation and they said they would get back to me.Which they didn't i asked to be re-powered so i could get how they told me theywould get back to me.they didn't...finally they told me that i would just have to get some sleep and deliver my load in the morning which was about 60 miles away in Virginia...

I couldn't believe what they had just said i pleaded over and over with tham to please get me home.But they said the best they could do is to get me to Charlotte terminal take a load from there to Chatt then go home..That following day my father passed away with all my family at his side but me..The benevolance fund didnothing for me i drove my car another 10 hours home.On my return to Chatt i wanted some explantions so iwent to see Doug Cook .And he basicly said "Everyone Has Problems you need to get over it.

So i had some words for him.And he fired me how funny right?Then they lied on my DAC so i have'nt worked in 6 months.I am filing a suit against the company for Negligence..And a complaint to the EEOC about them making me lie on my Logs to suit there needs...I will go as far as i can against Covenant I never had a chance to tell my father good-bye and that still haunts me today.

I am contacting every newpaper TV and radio in Chattanooga with my story..I want them to pay for my grief,Financial loss,depression,the nightmares,the emontional distress...I will never be the person i was Thanks to Covenant...

What and who you have to do to get miles

Hi there, this is some true information about Covenant Transport, if you are of the right sex, you can get all the miles you want. For instance, there is a girl named Melanie Sutton, that works there and she is not even a driver, still a student, and her dispatcher; Tommy Whitecotten, gives her over 4000 miles a week. How about that. Well you know what she does with Mr. Whitecotten. She is and ex bar girl, so it's nothing for her. Her and her partner drive in the Reffer division, which by the way is hard to get into for anyone, but guess what, this girl has been in the Reffer division since she finished her 30 days with the trainer, so you can figure that out. Unless you are doing the deed with the right person, then no you won't get many miles, but if you are a girl, just do it the way old Melanie has, and you will get 4000 plus miles a week. You can check her logs and the miles from DOT if you like.
