I set up an arrangement with these false attorneys, for a Capitol One credit card. Early this year I paid half of the entire balance that was owed. Full balance was about $1,600. Early this year I paid $800 which is half of the entire balance. I was told by one of the associates the was handling my account there by the name of Hector Hernandez, that my account was half satisfied. Mr. Hernandez wrote up a contract stating what I was paying $800 at the time and a monthly payment of $75. I told Mr. Hernandez that I was most likely not able to comply with the monthly arrangements of $75. Mr. Hernandez said that will be no problem to just sign the contract and the balance will stay the same till I am ready to pay again. Apparently its was all a scam and my balance is now about $2554.00 according to Mrs. Rosa Rodriguez (who refused to give me her first name, in which I had to call back and ask someone else), she broke down my "new balance" Principle $985, Interest $844.69, Attorney fee $750, court fee $271.00, minus my $800 payment last year, which equals to the new balance of about $2,554.00. I was never notified, no phone call, no letter, nothing. I heard nothing from them after I made this payment of $800 at the beginning of this year. Now all of a sudden 8 months later I happened to call them out of curiosity and I my balance was no longer about $800, it is now $2,554.00. Rip-off!!! Mrs. Rosa Rodriguez threatened to garnish my wedges by 25% and did not let me speak. I told Mrs. Rodriguez that they could not do that because I am a single mother and I am barely making it with my own bills and I can't have that done to me. Mrs. Rodriquez was not understanding did not want to hear me and continued to threaten to garnish my wedges and in crease my balance if I do not pay.
