On or about Tuesday July 3, 2001, local resident Eric Fleming was being attacked by his estranged girlfriend Nikki Corrow and throwing rocks through the windows of the Owls Nest Restaurant in Fish Creek. Fleming who works at the Owls Nest, was closing up the restaurant that night, when Nikki came in a fit of rage, accusing Eric of being unfaithful, even though Eric ended the relationship back in December because she could not keep a job and was unfaithful. Nikki refuses to leave Eric alone. On several other occasions there have been the same reports made by Eric Fleming and other witnesses as to the threatening behavior of Nikki. Witnesses state, “Nikki keeps assaulting Eric, but Eric will not hit a woman.”
One of several witness to the assault and vandalism on July 3, called the State Police. The call was placed by Jim Lanthier to the State Police. State police admitted hearing the screaming and window smashing to the Owls Nest over the phone. The Troopers came and took statements from all the witnesses including another worker at the restaurant who witnessed the vandalism and the assaults to Eric.
DELEHANTY REFUSES TO PROSECUTE
..SELECTIVE ENFORCEMENT
On Friday July 6th, New York State Trooper Aldridge was at the office of Assistant District Attorney, Jack Delehanty for several hours. The trooper later that day called the victim Eric at work and notified him that there would be no paper work signed on this, that there will be no charges filed. Eric demanded to know why this crime of assault to him and the hundreds of dollars worth of damage to the Owls Nest will not be prosecuted. While Eric was demanding to know why Delehanty would not sign the paper work, someone handed Eric a tape recorder to get what the Trooper was saying to him on tape. The Trooper finally told Eric that, because your friends with Jim Lanthier, Delehanty will not sign the paper work. That his friend Lanthier was the backbone to the Rip-off Reports on Jack and that Lanthier was trying to ruin Delehanty.
Rip-off Report.com contacted Lanthier who stated that Delehanty has ruined himself, that no one could ruin him. Lanthier also stated he had nothing to do with all the Rip-off Reports of Corruption and cover-ups at Sunmount involving Delehanty and Barbara Haws.

Franklin County, wake up! How long are you going to coddle this corrupt public servant. The county needs to investigate this man once and for all. This policy of protecting your good old boys has got to stop!
Is Jack Delehanty finally getting a selective conscience as to whether or not there is a conflict of interest? The right thing to do here is to turn this over to another District Attorney. Maybe this is what he is going to do? But we don't think this is the case here. Other police sources tell Rip-offReport.com that Jack made it very clear to the trooper, that he will not prosecute this case because the victim is friends with Jim Lanthier who has been vocal against Delehanty.

How much longer will the residents of Tupper Lake and Saranc Lake going to have to put up with an unscrupulous District Attorney. The county is leaving itself wide open for many problems, the ramifications could be very costly to tax payers along with criminal cases being overturned.
Is this another case of selective enforcement by Jack?
Maybe Tupper Lake should be renamed to Jacks Town, New York.
