Like a lot of people in the world, I feel behind on bills and went to a payday loan place. I then lost my job about 4 days after that, and I had no funds to pay back the loan. I was searching for about 3.5 months and I finally found a job. I have been working for about 3 weeks but haven't received my first pay check. Legal Mediation then contacted me and told me that would give me until 10am this morning to pay off the debt. I explained to to Mrs. Crawford that I had barely started working and wouldn't get paid until 6days from now. She was already rude with me from the beginning, but after I told her that she began to raise her voice and be ruder.

I then explained to her that I had every intention on paying off my debt, but I had to wait until I got my first check. She then began telling me to contact my family members or whoever loved me and she began to threaten with consequences. I then told her that I would be able to make 2 payments, maybe even pay it in full, but only once I get paid. She then got very rude and hung up on me.

I thought this was very unprofessional so I called back the next day and complained. I then spoke to another lady, who as well, was being very rude. I then explained the situation to her all over again and she began to yell and threaten as well. I told her that she was very rude and that I understand she's calling because that is her job, but that it doesn't give her the right to talk down to people and treat them like crap. She then began threatening that I would soon find out the consequences either at my house or wherever I was. Then I heard a ring and I was transferred back to the front office. I then explained to the lady what had just taken place and she said she will note that and hung up on me.

I just think that it is very rude and unnecessary for these individuals to call and be so rude and then try and threaten at the same time.
