After that you will never be put in touch with the attorney over the phone because they are afraid that you might withdraw your retainer contract.

While you are tying to contact them over the phone, REMEMBER you are being charged for the phone time you are talking with the receptionist and the time you are on hold. Once you have signed the paper work (Retainer) Agreement, you are giving them access to your credit card until your credit card is maxed out. I used this firm for marriage services and signed a retainer agreement. Though I never submitted the basic documentation to them based on which they could built my case, they still charged me.
