I used prepaid legal for almost a year, they do let you talk to "attorneys" but most of it is them saying that there's nothing they can help you with.

when I wanted to cancel they make it difficult. I wanted to cancel before they charged me again but they were closed due to bad weather. I called again the next day after the pay period started (so they charged me for the next month) and asked to cancel. they sent me an email with a document I needed to sign and fax for cancelation.

two weeks later still no refund!! I called and asked why didn't I get one, and they said I didn't ask for one. Fine! I wanted one and they said I need to fill out another form and fax it to them for the refund, which could take between 30-60 days!

Me and my friends called a couple of times for services...not worth it!

and if you're thinking of joining as an associate...they make more money off of you from seminars and materials then anything else, you are their pipeline not actual clients

I do not believe you

AUTHOR: Ted - Albany (U.S.A.)

I am sorry to say that I do not believe your story.

If an attorney that was part of the Pre-Paid Legal network directly told you they cannot help you, then I will be claiming that you are lying. The point of the service is t have a law firm that will be able to give you an attorney that specializes in any case you may have. If they said sorry we can't help you, they are failing to abide the guidelines of PPL and as an attorney as well.

Second, you should have reported to PPL you were not satisfied with the law firm and they would have replaced that law firm immediately.

I am sorry if you did have a bad experience but your story is exaggerated and has no backing.

PREPAID LEGAL IS A WORK AT HOME SCAM

AUTHOR: Laurie - Haslet (U.S.A.)

I was contacted by Prepaid legal when researching work at home opportunities 6 years ago.
I checked them out before signing and found too many complaints from those who signed up as work at home opportunities and complaints from unhappy clients.

I made the mistake of using a website that was supposed to help you find the right fit for work at home opportunities and the only options that made contact with me were all SCAMS. Prepaid legal was one of them.

This same website sent me a magazine regarding work at home stuff and everything in the magazine whether it was an article or advertisement had hundreds of complaints on the internet already.
