SSNHome.com is a scam that charges $19.99 for FREE Forms. How they got a smart person like myself to enter my credit card information is because they prominently feature the White House, USA.GOV and Social security Logo on their page which is what led me to trust their authenticity. It is not unusual to pay taxes online, engage an expediting service in getting public records or fast-tracking passports. I have seen this done as secure business services.

SSNHOME.com has NO service whatsoever. They charge you for free documents and the customer service is the rudest, most damaging experience I have ever come into contact with. I was trying to get this service completed quickly for my mother, who is disabled and in a nursing home. That twenty bucks they scammed off of me means a lot to people on fixed incomes. I can't imagine how many other people they are tricking. Without going in to details I can say I felt, scammed, hoodwinked, bamboozled, tricked and took for a ride all before I got on the phone with the customer service representative who actually laughed about my experience. She was so rude I thought I was on candid camer or being 'punk'd!!

Fine print is one thing but they should NOT be allowed to violate laws that govern the use of federal logos. If they are NOT affiliated with the Social Security Administration they should NOT have their log on their site. If they are NOT affiliated with the White House Administration they should NOT have their log on their site. If they are NOT affiliated with the US Government they should NOT have their log on their site.

Above all else, that's what I take issue with.
