Let's be clear....I am not an attorney, I was a contract employee who processed files for the company for little over 2 months September to November 09. You are seeking vengeance on a contract employee who was unfortunately associated in this mess. The fact is if you did have a contract with Fair Lending Review LLC from February 2009 then you would have known what the history or timeline was and my miniscule involvement with this company.
Ignorance or doing research about the company is not the question or claiming I should have known. Just like every American who was in search for a job, I replied to a job ad for an independent contract processor. I applied, was interviewed and accepted the job as a contract employee. There was nothing unusual about that.
No need to assume that you KNOW everything about all the people associated with this company. There are many things that I was on a "Need to Know Basis" since I had nothing to do with the decisions of the company or the direction they were taking. When I did raise my concerns or voiced my opinion of clients who were upset about the changes. My voice was heard but, really did anything I say matter to the owners?..Of course not. I was repeatedly told that the previous processing company that processed their files (Modification Services Inc out of Irvine, Ca) was no longer servicing their files and they needed my help to follow up with the lenders/banks for those files that were already submitted for a loan modification request. It was difficult to withstand days of tormenting screams or threats for trying to help their clients. I tried to hold on and thought if I help clients keep their homes I have accomplished what I was hired to do. With no warning my contract employment was severed the weekend after Thanksgiving. I was concerned about the clients but I had no choice or say in the matter. The owners cut all ties with me. The owner called me one morning said he needed me to stop working on all the files and I no longer had access to the files on their computer system.
This whole ordeal is very unfortunate and you are claiming I should have known. This is what I DO know....I tried the best I could for the clients and then was told to not work on the files as I am no longer needed for their contract services.
Lou - Bronx, I wish you well in your pursuit.
