On March 22, 2011 I contacted Nina Ebert (President - A Words Worth) via email to have her review my resume in regards to hiring her services to create a new resume for me. On March 23rd I actually remembered to attach my resume to the email to Nina Ebert. To make a long story short, on April 2nd she asked me to meet her at her primary residence in Egypt, NJ to go over my resume creation expectations. She made it a point to brag about her professional works by showing me a book she was published in. We spoke for about 1 hour. She seemed to know what she was doing, but when it got close to being there for one hour she hurried the interview along so she could get me out of there. On April 17, 2011 she emailed me the draft of my new resume and cover letter making it a point to put in the subject line (ahead of schedule). We scheduled a time on April 19th to discuss changes that needed to be made. There were so many discrepencies in the resume that we had to talk on the phone to discuss the changes that needed to be done. She was very rude on the phone, almost making it seem like I didn't know what I was talking about. She had made spelling errors, sentence structure errors, and added information in the resume that I had never told her to add.On April 19th at 237 pm I let her know by email that the resume looked good, but the dates needed to be fixed. At no time did I tell her that I fully accepted the resume and no more changes were needed. On April 20th I emailed her about more changes that needed to be made that were very unprofessional (copied/pasted hyperlinks from the internet on the resume). On April 20th we had a heated conversation because she was telling me that she was not going to do anymore editing to the resume. She became so infuriated that she even hung up the phone on me. Leaving me to edit my own resume to fix it.

A+ Rating for A Word's Worth Resume and Writing Service

AUTHOR: Nina - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, August 05, 2011

Say what you may, but I did not pay the Better Business Bureau to give me an A+ rating. Call the Bureau and ask them if A Word's Worth Resume Writing and Career Coaching Service is accredited by the BBB. They will tell you that A Word's Worth is not accredited because I did not pay them the $350 fee they asked me to pay. In fact, a woman by the first name of Gina is the person who solicited my membership. Regardless of the fact that I did not pay the BBB, they were, I assume, impressed with the way I tried to appease the client who accused me of mistreating him (Mykl, who I refer to in my rebuttal), and they rated me with an A+ due to my unblemised 22-year record.

This business owner / Certified Professional Resume Writer / Career Coach / Military Reward Partner (me, Nina Ebert of A Word's Worth Resume Writing and Career Coaching Service) does not like to be called a liar.

A Word's Worth is Setting the Record Straight

AUTHOR: Nina - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, August 05, 2011

This is a rebuttal from Nina Ebert, Certified Professional Resume Writer / Career Coach / Military Reward Partner / President of A Word's Worth Resume Writing and Career Coaching Service, serving clients since 1989. I am responding to false accusations issued by Mykl of Lodi, NJ on June 17, 2011.

I have served thousands of clients throughout my 22 years in the business and have never had a single complaint filed against me. My rating with the Better Business Bureau is A+, even though I don't pay a membership fee. In fact, the Better Business Bureau conducted an intensive investigation of Mykls complaint and resolved the matter in my favor, stating that I had done everything in my power to satisfy the resume and cover letter needs of the client.

I spent about over 2 hours interviewing Mykl on Saturday April 2, 2011 to identify the challenges he had faced in the workplace, the actions he took to meet those challenges, and the results of those actions.

Following the interview, Mykl paid me in full and signed a contract stipulating that drafts of his resume and cove letter would be emailed to him on Tuesday, April 19, 2011.

If the client was not happy with the time I spent interviewing him or with the effort I put forth in interviewing him, he could have easily left the office without paying me and without signing a contract that I would write his resume and cover letter.

On Thursday, Aril 14, the client called me and began harassing me, insisting on seeing rough drafts of the resume and cover letter earlier than the contracted date. I calmly explained to Mykl that he would be able to make changes and / or corrections to the documents when I emailed them to him on the due date of April 19.

To end his irrate phone calls and emails, I finally acquiesced and emailed him rough drafts on Friday, April 15, 4 days earlier than contracted to do so, explaining that the rough drafts would require me to implement editing before they were finalized.

Since starting my business in 1989, I have worked with my clients until they are completely satisfied with the end products. As a small business owner, I take full responsibility for all aspects of my business. I consider customer relationship management to be paramount among my duties.

I produced a fine resume and cover letter for Mykl, copies of which I would be happy to share as evidence of my efforts. However, I was committed to making changes / corrections until Mykl was completely satisfied, which I expressed to Mykl.

Unfortunately, Mykl decided instead to try to retrieve the money he had paid me to write his documents. When these efforts failed, he decided to write that A Words Worth Resume Writing and Career Coaching Service is a rip off.

The very week before Mykl contacted me, a representative of the Better Business Bureau solicited me to see if I would partake in BBB membership, specifically because I had a spotless record of professionalism and customer service since starting the business in 1989. I opted not to join the BBB

because it is a fee-based agency, as I don't feel I have to buy my reputation. I am, and always have been, 110% committed to my clients.
