pokerstars.com my account for no valid reason was frozen when I was first place in a tournament, under "suspicion of collusion". I had so many chips I still placed in the top 100 by just sitting out the rest of the Internet

Pokerstar Straight ripped me off.   I play pokerstars almost everyday for fun.  . I sometimes play with or against some my friends online at pokerstars, never having a problem, always just good old poker fun. We play in all type of tournaments, and Sit & Go tables. None of us have ever really won any money worth bragging about, and I personally have never cashed a check from Pokerstars and I don't believe my friends have either, I win but never big enough to bother taking it out.

I was in a 1400 person tournament. I was about 2 hours into this tournament, when my account was frozen in the middle of this game. I was currently in 1st place and had a huge chip lead on 2nd place. The average chip stack was around 4-5k in chips, I was at 28k in chips. In great position to dominate the rest of the tournament, all the cards were coming my way, if I had good cards they hit, and if I had bad cards, they would hit the nuts. I couldn't lose it seemed. I was so happy, i was having a horrible day and it was nice to actually have a chance at first place. So back to the rip off, they froze my account under "suspicion of collusion", when I was at the best chance to actually win a huge tournament, I was in first, going good la-dee-da, and all of a sudden I got a window that popped up and said I had my account frozen!  Of all the times they decide to do this, a simple email in advance telling me this was going to happen would have solved this issue because I would have not played until it was resolved, they pick the time when I was almost assured victory of a big event.  They sent me an email saying they have suspended my account because I played a lot of games with my friends and they felt it was a good time for me to explain why I folded my pocket 8's against my friend when he had pocket Q's because that seemed like collusion to them, they sent a few other nonsense hands I've played through out the 100k (probably a lot more just guessing) hands or so I have played and demanded explanations for my moves (does this make sense to u?).  And they would not let me play the game until I responded.  So naturally I responded immediately because I still wanted to play the tournament.  There was no response, finally after 3-4 emails, I got a response from the "supervisor" (highly doubt it) saying that the customer service office that was reviewing my case had just closed for the night and that I would not be able to continue playing in this tournament. I sat there watching my hands get folded over and over, going from 1st (prize was valued at $1000 US) until I placed 85th (prize was $12.25 in the tournament, just sitting out!!  I sent messages back and forth with the "supervisor SimonD" who insisted that he could not help me out, and at least let me finish the tournament.  He said he might return my buy-in! LOL what a joke.  Safe to say I will never play at PokerStars again, I have won $16k and cashed out from Party Poker and recieved the check from them. I would recommend them over PokerStars.  PartyPoker once sent me an email stating that they suspected me of the same thing, but they just made it so my friends and I could not play at the same table (fair enough).  They consider it "collusion" if you refuse to take your friend out of the tournament, that is ridiculous, since when is there a rule in poker that you have to play your cards?  PokerStars decided that it was best to freeze my account in the middle of a game, it was the first and only game I was going to play for the day.  I don't usally play large tournaments because they take hours and hours and are very difficult to actually make good money, sure doubling up is easy to obtain in a large tournament but that takes too long. It is easier to do it in a smaller game. The pots are big and worth winning in the big tournaments, If this happened in my usual cash game or 1-9 table tournament, I would not even complain. But this happened when it was worth winning.  Convinient I do say.

All and all I'm super pissed off at PokerStars for wasting my time and money.  I feel like this is completely wrong, and I really do wonder if this happens to other people as well, let me know if they do this to you. We can build a case.  Get Hand History Reports from them if this happens to you, we will need them.

Good Luck to all Poker Player, its a great game, PokerStars is a scam.
