I went to the rite aid in steubenville ohio to purchase m&ms, toothpaste and a toothbrush. When you first walk in the m&ms are on display with a sign saying 2 for $5.00. as long as it was between 9.9 and 12.6 ounces. The ad in the paper does not say what kind of m&ms(loose or indiviual packets) and neither does the store display. I then went to get the toothpaste and toothbrush. The deal was buy 3 for 3.00 plus get a 2.00 up reward. The toothpaste was marked correctly. The toothbrush that was on sale was oral b. only one row of toothbrushes had the sale ticket on it. I grabbed one and went to counter. When it came to the m&ms, i was told it was coming up 3.99 each. I told them its right in front of you on display and says 2 for 5.00. the cashier(who was extremely patient and nice) called over the manager. She tells me that they are 3.99 a bag and the ones that are on sale are at the other end of the store (with no sale tag)! I said forget it, and i told her dont you think that should be taken down, its deceptive. she of course did not take it down. I get home and look on my receipt and it shows a 3.00dollar up reward, but i should of only got 2.00.  well i found out why. They charged me 3.00 for the toothbrush instead of 1.00. apparently those were marked with sale price but werent the ones on sale. This is absolutly ridiculous. im thinking about filing a claim, anyone else have problems at this rite aid?

The Customer is Correct $$$

AUTHOR: STATE - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, August 09, 2012

They should have sold you the items at the coupon price. There is a weights & measure laws in the country. And if a store makes a ad mistake, or it even in the slightest way appears deceiving, the customer is suppose to get the sale price. You could file a complaint with your state's Attorney General's office for good measure. Another consumer scam out there now....are those self service cash registers, many of them cheat the customer out of their correct change. I busted one yesterday, that attempted to retain .43 cents extra from my total change due back. Stores have bookkeeping allowances for making good, bad ads, misplaced decimals, wrong product sizes in coupon ads. Unfortunately, Rite-Aid is no Pay-less. And the staff and merchandise are pretty bad since the take over happened.

And on another note

Striderq Columbia (U.S.A.)) Is a fake, blogger for hire, and works for one of those "reputation defender' companies. He trolls the clouds, looking for any postings about any company he has been hired to 'rebuttal' against. His "rebuttals" are usual excessively long winded, and he always "claims" to "have worked" in the "industry" that the poster complained about. He is "critical" about the poster, but does not address the issues posted in the complaint. He uses "cliched" statements. So, dis-regard any of this guys postings on the web, internet, www or the cloud.
I have read streams of his postings under this handle And he may use more identification  handles to operate.

Sales prices...

AUTHOR: Striderq - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, August 03, 2012

are only given when the purchase is in accordance with the directions. The sale was 3 for $3, not for $1 each. If you had purchased 3 of them (and they were the right toothbrushes) then you would have been charged the sales price of $3.
