Ruths Chris Steakhouse, Columbia SC has contracted with a multi state convicted felon, Jeff Jernigan, to clean their kitchens and front of the house. Prior to starting the principals, Mark Oswald and Mayor Steve Benjamin were aware of the con man. Jernigan has even used fraudulent insurance documents to secure their business.
He has been convicted of bank and wire fraud in both SC and Kentucky and is on probation for the next four years. see this link http://richmondregister.com/localnews/x1687703811/Bulldog-Media-owner-granted-probation He hasnt learned his lesson though as he still continues to bounce checks and stiff every business that provides him service. A popular technique used to pay a staffing service is bill pay by First Citizens Bank. Jernigan processes payment and produces confirmation but then cancels. Currently there is a warrant out for his arrest in Atlanta, Georgia.

Arrest warrants on Jernigan are pending in SC and Georgia. Fraudelent checks in excess of $1200.00. Total current debt owed to creditors exceeds $20,000 in 3 months. If you are a hood cleaner beware, he is looking for restaurant cleaning contractors now.
