Bellow Poverty line is the Salary for the Re-sales People. I can tell this, because I worked for them... I actually made more money on Training Pay, average $1,500.00 taxable, than in real sale!!! When I noticed their Veterans that have been with the company btw 3 to 6 years were making an average of $2,000.00 Taxable Income per month I said it to myself... "Ohhh... God...." I honestly have no idea how those people live... their wives and husband must have a very good job, because around the Washington DC Metro Area 2k is nothing!!! Average rent for one bedroom apartment is $1,200.00... It's pitiful they even use Craig's List to hire people... Look you got the picture... If you are a professional salesperson don't even waste your time my friend... Now, if you have no other choice in life and $2,000.00 is money for you, well God Bless you go right ahead, but don't fall for their $55,000.00 a year salary, that simply doesn't exist... Specially in today's economy... Go and collect unemployment you are going to make a lot more money!

Looks like you should have done your homework BEFORE working for ADT.
I fail to see the Ripoff if you accepted their terms when you were hired.
If you haven't found a new job by now, it's time to do so.

people are on to these alarm company scams and don't get suckered like they used to.
You'll make more money burglarizing.

What a great idea, Rik, I'm quitting my alarm company job and taking your advice.
What is your address, please? Do you have a big dog? Are you gone certain days or evenings?
Awaiting your reply.

That is true and I strongly agree with you, I have "miserably" failed to do my home work BEFORE I was "hired", but I believe that honesty goes along way too... 55k for the first year is literally a joke, and as far as I am concerned that wasn't a job! But again, you sound like an employee of the company and if 2k per month is money for you... Well my friend, God Bless you... Furthermore, if you fail to see how that's a ripoff let me just tell you this... "When you lie to get someone to work for you and that person put's money from his savings account in order to make this job work, after all it's a again, 100% commission based "job", that's my friend is a ripoff. And if you don't understand that, I think you should stay at your present job. No offense!
