Jere Parkhurst used to be my brother. After what he did to my parents ... I would rather be an only child. He's always been very charming while talking you out of something he wanted. After college, he took over management of my fathers business ... a 3rd generation auto repair and tire sales business. The one my Grandpa Session started in the 1940's. For 50 years "Session" was a respectable last name, until Jere used it to get what he wanted. After changing his name to Jere Parkhurst Session, he ran that business into the ground with poor service. He didn't pay property or employment taxes. The local businesses that extended him credit were never repaid. The money he was supposed to pay to my Dad to buy him out stopped coming.

One surprising Friday, at 4:00pm, he told his employees they were fired, he was closing the shop. He took all the tools and equipment, office furniture, computers, and all of his inventory of tires and parts and sold it for cash. Basically, he gutted the building and walked away.
My Dad had to sue him to get the property back, then he had to auction it off the pay the back taxes. Plus, he had to pay $250,000 to creditors that were suing my Dad (because Jere put my Dad's name on the credit application) just to get himself out of trouble he didn't cause. Not surprisingly, the money Jere had borrowed from my Dad to pay for Taxes (in the hundreds of thousands of $$) was never repaid. Jere never admitted guilt, or even apologized. What he did was drop the "Session" from his last name, because he had gotten all he could out of it.

In the end, Jere soaked my parents for more than $500,000 ... the money they planned to retire with. They worked VERY VERY hard all their lives and deserve rest and respect, but Jere doesn't care. He still lives in a fancy custom house in Litchfield Greens, driving fancy cars and sending his kids to private schools.

The moral of Jere's story is this ... if he can leave his own family destitute without blinking an eye, when his childhood friends won't return his calls anymore and when his own sister, who once loved and idolized him, can see what a common criminal he has become .... don't let him or Michelle anywhere near your property, your money, your stock trading, your silverware or anything you have of value. Unless you want to LOSE IT ALL.

By the way, Michelle's legal name is "Dawn Michelle Stephanie Tucker Blockey Parkhurst" So, D. Michelle may not be the only alias she is using.
