Fake Girogio Armani Jacket Scam Con artist tried to sell me 'Giorgio Armani' jacket samples New York New York

I was walking home up 7th Avenue around 11:30pm tonight when a guy pulled up in a white (?) SUV asking for help. He asked me if I spoke Italian and said that he was trying to get to the Lincoln Tunnel. I thought that seemed a bit dumb but I like to think I'm polite to strangers so told him which way to go.

Then he started giving me the spiel about doing a favor for him and the leather jacket samples he had and how he had a flight at 3am back to Italy. That's when I didn't feel comfy.... there's a curfew on flights at that time of the night.

So I made it very clear I wasn't interested and he very quickly said 'OK fine', and sped off real quick. So I went onto google on my phone straight away and typed in 'armani fake jacket scam' and that's how I found this website and all the reports of this guy (or guys)!

He had a shaved head and could pass for Italian but being English I think I could detect an American accent. If he isn't American I would say he has spent quite a lot of time here.

I'm going to email all my friends and colleagues in NY about this guy!
