Fashion Bug False Advertisement and very rude. Niagara Falls New York

I went to fashion bug on May 30, 2003. I had a store credit from a year ago I never used. I decided to use it. My store credit was for $14.00. My total bill was $28.06.

On 6/2/03 I returned the items with the tags on them and my receipt. They were never worn. I looked for something else and could not find anything I wanted to buy. I was told that store policy is if you pay cash for something and you return it with a receipt and the tags still on you will get your cash back.

I was told that they could not do that. Even though I paid $14.06 cash they refused to give me that much cash back and then a store credit. When I asked why they said they just couldn't do it that way. The machine would not allow them to do that.

I ended up with a store credit of $28.06 that I know I will never use. The reason being is they were rude to me and I believe that was false advertisement. When I said to them I could not find anything I really liked and I probably would not be back in this store the women said to me "really, well that's too bad". She was very sarcastic when she said that and people were standing there and could not believe what they heard. They were just shaking their heads.

I have never done anything like this before, but I feel I was treated so badly that I really hope that someone will respond to this letter and please tell me the store policy has not changed.
