I had purchased approximately $45,000 worth of gym equipment from this company in August & September of this year.  The equipment, athough not new, was supposed to be cleaned, serviced and in working condition. However, when the equipment was received, it was neither cleaned or serviced. Some of the equipment was also not in working condition. I was told that the equipment would be like new. This was far from the truth.

After weeks of frustrating phone calls and emails, a service tech was sent and only some of the issues were addressed.  I had to hire an outside independent company to service all the machines.  A second invoice of new equipment ordered was only partially fulfilled. Over a month later, I still had none of this equipment.

These issues cost me thousands and thousands of dollars, due to opening delays, outside parties, lawyer fees, etc.  All the while, this company has done nothing to alleviate or this situation, or correct it in any way. There was only frustration, stress, and complete dissappointment with this company. Phone calls went unanswered, and emails obviously ignored. This continues to this day. We are still at a stand still with credit card disputes.

Unfortunately in this day and age of internet growth it seems that anyone can write anything they want especially lies. As much as I would like not to respond to this grossly inaccurate portrayal of our company all I can say is that we won the dispute with the credit card company and are now pursuing litigation against this customer as well. Fitness Equipment Depot Worldwide prides itself on customer service and will adhere to its policies and procedures while producing quality equipment for our customers. It is very unfortunate that this customer chose to take this stand.

Thanks again for demonstrating my point. Not only has this company treated a customer like garbage, but is now also going as far as name calling. I do not need to defend myself in this matter, I will leave that up to the judicial system. However, I will state that if I am such a 'liar' as this company has put it, then I guess so are all the other people that have filed complaints against Fitness Equipment Depot.

Unfortunately,we can not control what any individual reports on a website such as this.We can only say that we take any complaint seriously.We have tens of thousands of customers worldwide and it is not our intent to disappoint any.If we make a mistake,we act quickly to correct it.

In this particular case,the consumer's accounting of what transpired is completely inaccurate which is why we won the credit card dispute they filed against us.We are currently awaiting a trial date for a suit we have filed against the customer because of money they still owe us.They have postponed the first trial date and we would prefer that they just pay what they owe so that we are not forced to continue this path.

It is unfortunate that people are allowed to say whatever they want on the internet about a company or individual w/out actually having to back that up.We are sorry that this transaction did not go the way that we would have hoped,but it was through no fault of ours.Despite it all,we wish this customer nothing but the best in their health club venture and ask that they just pay us the money still due us.
