H & R Block I did not recieve my tax refund on the 11th of febuary 2011 as promised, now i am being charged 36% intrest daily on a loan through there company which they will not freeze. Sulphur, Louisiana

I filed my taxes with h&r  Block january 28th, 2011. I was promised my refund would be available febuary 11, 2011. I took an advance loan through there company regarding the promise refund date.

febuary 11, 2011 my funds where not on my account on the date promised. I called h&r block coustomer service, the only thing they would do is cancle the daily late fee. I had to call four times at the h&r block sulphur office before i was put through to the manager.

I asked how come my funds are not available an explained my loan of $700 plus there fees was due on the 15th. brenda white replied let me pull up your file to see if i can find anything. brenda informed me the irs sent a notice to there office stating a request for me to contact them.

I left my contact information with the company. They recieved the notice and did not contact me I had to call them to find out what was going on.  I called irs and was told my husband has back taxes to be paid .

when they recieve it i will get my refund in 3 to 4 weeks, expected date available is march 5,2011. i called h&r block febuary 14,2011 and told tell what i had learned. I was told the irs cancled back pay tax information when you do a return.

I was refered again to costomer service. I called and again the only thing they could do is cancle the late free. and refered me to financial management i requested a freeze on the intrest and have not heard back from them.

I have called district manager crieg lavett twice requesting a return phone call and have not heard from him. I purchased the peace of mind plan also. I have made a number of attempts to resovle this problem and i keep getting the run around

I am bieng charged 36% daily intrest fee on a loan to be taken off my h&r block card that does not have the funds applied to it, that h&r block promised my refund would be available on my card on the promised date.

i believe justic is to be served for all of us who have had to suffer because we trusted h&r block
