Hiltop Security Company,SA International Lottery Scam Madrid, Other

On October 10, 2009 I got a letter saying I won the Euro Millones, European lottery in the amount of $1,393,673.99. I was to call Don Davis Lopez of Hiltop Security Company SA. the representative of Agency International.

I called and he asked how I wanted the monies delivered certfied check/bank transfer/pick up in Madrid.  Bank Transfer was my response. The bank would call me with the details.

A woman call "from the bank" with the referenece number BUT I would have to pay $875.00 before they could send the wire. I should contact my agent with what I should do.

I called Don Davis Lopez back. He said I would have to go to the Western Union and send the monies out and the Agent would take it to the bank as my representative.His name was Edward Kelvin of Calle Kugutox BDE Camel #5 28032 Madrid,Spain. $875.00 and I only had 24 hours to do so. When I asked to switch to a certified check he said no problem but a fee would be needed for that too.

The amount for the transfer seemed extreme so I called my bank and they told me should be around $65.00. This confirmed my belief that it was a scam.I went to the local authorities and reported it. They pretty much said even tough they are were waiting for my money the Madrid police wont do anything about it.

The polce have tried to get the cooperation but cant seem to get them to help. I was informed that many many scams similar to this comes out of Canada alot. But be aware of the ses scams from all over the world. Also be aware of the Debt reduction credit  companies promising to help reduce debt.

They took my 72 year old fathers $990.00 and told him pay x amount every time and his debt would be gone in 6 years.Like he didnt know that. The point was he couldnt in the first place and all they did was add tohis credit card debt and would not give it back when he told them all they did was put him further behind and anybody knew if you paid more the debt goes down Faster BE AWARE OF THE SCAMS.
