I was a victim of a Romance Scem. I went on a big people meet website where a so-called nice-looking Jamaican man expresses interest in me he emails me and then he instantly wants to get on the IM where he then says it was love at first sight for him about 1 week later he starts asking for money.
He tells me he has no family parents are dead wife left him and that he is a contruction worker in Nigeria on a construction Job. Then a few days later he tells me that his monies have been frozen in his account because someone tryed to use his account and the bank froze it. Well the samething just happened to me for real about a month earlier so I beleived him.
He started out asking me to send money for food because he was hungry then he would ask for gas for the construction trucks and so forth altogether I sent this person $1,234 plus the phone bill.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not send Money to unknown people for anything not only was I hurt finanically but also my Heart was broken.
He included many names in his scem because I did grow suspicious and so he threw some names around to back his story that he was no a con artist
Names Used: Olawale Sanusi (which I beleive is his real name) the name he was giving me to send the western unions by the way all moneis was sent western union, also Gary Justice, Yekini Sunday.
Joseph claims to be living in a Hotel where the Manager is being nice enough to let him stay until he can get back to the states and get his account straigntened out and then pay him.
As I tell the story I now see how crazy it all sounds but when you are lonely and think you have found the love of your life as a human your first instinct is to help the one you love and that is why so many of us get ripped off We Have Hearts. But mine has a callous on it from this point forward.
Please learn from this story ladies and gentlemen and the bad part is I know I will not recover the Money that I lost but I just want to get the story out there to help others not to find themselves in this same Mess. and also I hope people will reconize this scammer and avoid him!
