This response is in response to the Mr. Pony's rebuttal for Manpower.
I don't know if you think that the word S-T-U-P-I-D is written on my face or not but, not only are they holding back 2 weeks, they've held back about 4 weeks! Is this in the manual as well?????????????????
By the way, since I'm SUPPOSED to get paid weekly, they are suppose to hold back only ONE check - NOT TWO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is this in the manual as well!!!!!!
You've worked for the company, I suppose, don't play stupid with me! I know that you had employees to quit because of the abuse - yes, I said abuse, from your company!
I know that a week has to be held back before getting paid! I've worked a total of about 6 weeks and just yesterday (Friday, September 22nd) received a 3rd check!!!!!!!!! Also, explain to me why they paid me for the very first week that I worked under Manpower which was a very small check, but has not paid me for the the second week, paid me for the third week and not any more checks for August but just sent one for the week or period ending on September 3rd?

No, I do not work "for" Manpower, although at one time I was on assignment at one of their client's, much like you were. (Does that mean that YOU work "for" Manpower? Of course not.) I am currently on disability/social security following a dismembering accident at my sausage factory.
There are many reasons why you may not have received your check.
1- Failing to submit a valid, signed timecard.
2- Submitting a timecard that was either NOT signed, had a forged signature, or contained inaccurate hours worked.
3- Submitting inaccurate direct deposit information, such that your check is not able to be electronically submitted.
4- Failing to update address changes, preventing the company from being able to mail you a check.
5- Failing to show up for work three days in a row and/or failing to give proper notice (24 hours) before quitting an assignment.
6- Submitting a fabricated expense report for payment.
7- Stealing from the client work site.
May I suggest that rather than throw a tantrum and represent yourself in an unprofessional manner in front of your employer, that you attempt to rectify your problems in a mature, responsible manner. It's safe to say that you will NEVER be considered for employment again at Manpower or any of their numerous client companies.

All of the reasons that you gave, Peter, do not apply to me. I have followed all of the rules. I've even spoken with someone at my company who personally spoke with someone at Manpower in order to make sure - positively sure that timecards were signed, data correct, etc., so, you see, those are not the problems, I'm not the problem!!
I've not received a rebuttal from the company and since you don't know me personally or my situation except for what you've read in my report, you really cannot help me a bit!
I have, since, last Friday, received a response from someone at Manpower and I will work through it - at least try to - with her. So, unless you can produce my much needed checks or viable information that I can really use, I'd appreciate it if you'd not email me again.
No hard feelings!!!
