On approx 9-18-09 or around, I opened In-Shop on game Evony; Offer was posted 250c for $5; I clicked offer and completed purchase via Paypal. Following payment, I received in game account payment history as $5 in exchange for 250 game cents. I received only 50 game cents however. I sent several in game contact via mail message, bug reports and posted numerous times in evony forums. I received a reply for an evony game representaive named "Thalin". His reply was that company sent an email out showing terms and special conditions of this offer. He went on to say that I bought a package for $5 for 250c WORTH of ITEMS (not actual game coins). I attempted to explains what was termonology was used In-Shop (game), being 250c for $5, receipt I received from game account as you paid "$5 in exchange for 250 game cents" - to no avail. I was told the terms were made clear and basically I would not be getting game 250 game cents. I attemped then to resolve the matter thru Paypal claims and disputes. I sent NUMEROUS messages to Regan Merchantile ... NO RESPONSE at all. Paypal closed the claim saying that I was not covered under their buyer-protection policy. So, basically I have been screwed by 1. Evony 2. Regan Merchantile and 3. Paypal. Thank God it was ONLY $5! There are other players (evidence as report here: http://bbs.evony.com/index.php) who have paid MUCH more and never received what they purchased as well. The point of the matter is: should not matter if it's $5 or $500,000 - when a company advertises and collects money and advertised items are not delievered ... not only is this FALSE ADVERTISING ... this IS FRAUD.

I'm LL, and I'm filing a RIPOFF REPORT against Evony, LLC on-line game and it's financial underwriter, Regan Merchantile, LLC!!!

I attempted to explain In-Shop (game) offer as clearing being labeled with button: 250c for $5( attached is offer posted note heading). I also referred to the in-game receipt I received as posted to my game account as paid "$5 in exchange for 250 game cents" ( I have attached a screen image of such) - To no avail - I was told the terms were made clear and basically I would not be getting game 250 game cents. More Fraudlent Activity

AUTHOR: anonymous - Blakely (USA)

Evony Changed my In-game Account Receipt following complaint in-game and  to Paypal. I have attached a screen shot photo of the changed game receipt. The original receipt shows following of which only 50 of 250 game coins were actually delivered. The dispute is regarding order UXXX, although the other order, GXXXXx was changed as well.

Order List

UXXXXXPremium Rewards Evony Server 043 $ 5.00 250 2009-09-28 11:49 Delivered You purchased 5.00 USD in exchange for 250 cents Evony game coins.

I was smart enought to capture a screen-shot of the changes, but did not capture a screen-shot of the original. However, I did copy and paste the original game account history receipt to a document before Evony changed it.

#4 Consumer Comment

Wording of promotion

AUTHOR: zackfer - gundy (Canada)

you need to log in and go to the game, then when you are at your city, go up and click the little gift box to claim your package (upper left hand corner of screen). If you read the wording, it is 250 cents WORTH of stuff for 5 dollars + 50 game cents, took me a little while to find the package thing after I bought it. Hundreds of unclaimed packages are just sitting there, because they don't explain how to claim it very well, and most people are too busy looking for the 250 game cents. Good luck.
