VACATION SHOWROOM Ripoff, For Thirteen Months I have been lied to and have not gotten my Refund. PATELKA ORLANDO Florida

I got a flyer through my fax machine at work back March 2003 from Vacaton Showroom. I called to get information and I was told that they could only hold the package for an hour. After talking to my husband, I called right back gave them a check number to purchase this package.

After I recieved the confirmation I decided that it was a ripoff and people told me that I shouldn't trust them. They were right. I knew that I had the right to cancel the package within 30 days. I sent in a request in writing right away and I also emailed it.

I have been lied to since then. I have requested my cancellation for over 4 times, by mail, by fax, & by email and by telephone call. I was told I was getting my refund in 6 weeks, 6 weeks later it was another 6 weeks to sent me a check. then 6 weeks later the check was mailed to me and I should get it within a few days.

After a few weeks I called back and the phone # was disconnected. Called the new # spoke to Kimberly. Per Kimberly the old customer service was closed and that she would be handling any cancels. She asked that I send in a new request. I did.

Weeks later Kimberly got fired and the matter was to be solved by management at a meeting. In october I was asked to re-mail my request because they had lost all the paperwork again. So I did. In December I was told by Janet (who is very rude on the phone) that I was scheduled to get a Refund in January.

I called in January. Number of times I got disconnected and hung up on. Number of times I was on hold for 15, 20 even 60 minutes and never got to speak to a refund representetive. I have called and been patient but I am tired and sick of this. It has been 13 months and I have not recieved my refund. PLEASE HELP.
