Questia Media America Over the past two years we have tried to sever all business with this company. They have repeatedly charged our debit card without our permission and as of this posting have charged us nearly $120 for Houston, Texas Internet

 Several years ago we purchased service from Questia. After a couple of years we stopped the service...or so we thought. After a while the monthly charge of $19.95/month started up again. There was no way to stop the service at the company's website but eventually we were able to get hold of someone on the phone who said that the service had been stopped. Charges continued and we eventually found that Questia had made another account for us that we did not want and was charging us again.

Finally we got it stopped. Then today we were looking at out bank statement and notice a Questia charge for $29.95. After checking back several months we found that Questia had been charging us again, beginning in September 2010. For four months we had been charged for something we did not order. I called the help desk and the woman in the Philippines said our service had been stopped. She did not offer to make a refund saying that if we thought the charges were fraudulent we should contact the authorities. What a crappie company!!! And we are out a lot of money for no value at all.
