Bright Effects - FEC Bright Effects, Lowes Faulty 5 year flourecent replacement bulbs, Fail in about 6 months or less ripoff Pico Rivera California

We purchased replacement energy star 65 watt bulbs to go in the can lights through out my home. We purchased these bulb at Lowes and the item #80424 and cost about $7 per pack of 2. I havd 10 fixtures these are in.

I have started replaceing them as they fail with original incandesent bulbs. They will last about 3 to 6 monthes with normal use.

I contacted the manufacture to report defect. They sent me 2 new bulbs to replace the 4 that i had at the time that had failed. It took 2 monthes to receive At that point i had already replaced 4 bulbs with reporting them to manufacture.

I have the low energy bulbs throughout my home and have had good luck with all except these.

The manufacture stated to me that they were not designed to be used in can lights. So my question is what are they to be uses in since that is the only light fixtures they would look correct in.

I also reported to Lowe's and received a automatic response and never heard anything else from them.
