Capitol Lighting advertised that it has a 110% price guarantee. In fact, in smaller print they advertise "Capitol Lighting will never be beaten on Price! If you find this item for less from a competitor we will match that price and BEAT IT by 10% of the difference. Shop confidently with Capitol!" I found three different lights that Capitol advertises and called them about honoring the price difference. No surprise, Amanda and Kevin said that wasn't possible. Kevin went on to infer that the other company where the items were offered at 1/3 of the price as Capitol, was "probably selling returns, discontinued or defective items." Don't believe their false advertising.

The competing site against which the customer requested our Price Match is a "flash sale" site that requires membership. The website is not an authorized distributor of the products in question and thus does not meet the terms of our Price Match Guarantee. Further, as the competing site in question is a "flash sale" site, at the time the customer requested a Price Match, the competing price could not be confirmed at the other site as the sale had already ended.
