FEC Lighting- Bright Effects Lights have burned out or exploded in les than a year, Kansas

Last year we bought three large boxes of these lights. They show that they will last up to 5 years. I gues that since they say that, it means they can all burn out in less than a year. I have had one actually exploded in my front room, and already replaced 9 others.

The lights cost alot up front but when you have to replace them more often than the regular light bulbs it cost more in the long term. I had spent well over 60.00 on these so called energey effivient bulbs that should last longer than the regular ones. I am finally installing the last 2 today then if I have to replace any in the future I will go back to GE soft light bulbs. They cost less and have lasted longer than these so called years of savings bulbs.
