I worked for this company for a little over a month. The owner, Jimmy Tountas, talks a good show, saying I would make, in a busy week, over 3000.00 a week.

What Jimmy wasn't telling me was that he charges 3.50 A DAY for "ChicagoPlate Fees", 25.00 a week for bond (which is reasonable, as some drivers like to rack up I-Pass Violations on the tollway), and now, 8.00 per day for INSURANCE fees! Insurance is a cost of doing business!!

The man also refuses to pay his people. When he does, you pray to God your check doesn't bounce! I only received one paycheck from him; it didn't bounce, but he refuses to pay me for what I AM owed, which is around 700.00. He's also been sued, or is being sued, by several people he owes money to, not to mention the fact bill collectors and finance companies are calling him demanding payment. He's also been sued by the Illinois Attorney General, on behalf of the Illinois Department of Labor, for failing to pay wages owed to people. His manager Judy kept giving me excuses to not issue my paycheck, then today, after calling four different times to inquire about my check, told me that the entire check would be held for 'bond purposes'. Needless to say, my attorney is getting involved, as well as a complaint to the Department of Labor has been filed.

In addition, the vehicle I was assigned smelled of a moldy odor (because it had been sitting for quite a while before I got there) and had major brake problems, which I reported to his manager THREE DIFFERENT TIMES and it never got fixed.

My strong suggestion to anyone wanting to work for him is to run FAR AWAY FROM HIM, and anyone who wishes to use his limo service had better check to see if that vehicle is safe.
