Access Financial Modifications Ripoff artists-don't do it South Daytona Beach Florida

I am writing about a company called Access Financial Modifications. They were going to assist me in modifying my mortgage for a fee. They were going to take out 2 payments of $749.00 and $750.00 respectively. I contacted the Attorney General's office in Florida where the company does business. They advised me that any upfront fees for loan modification were illegal and that the company had received numerous consumer complaints. I called the company on 6/10/09 and advised them that I no longer wanted to do business with them. Someone by the name of “BJ” told me that the deposit had gone through already. The day that I spoke to them they panicked and attempted to take money out of my checking account but were unsuccessful. On the 11th I noticed that they took both payments out of my checking account under the company name of “Stratosphere Communications”. The credit union had blocked the transaction under "Access" but when the company changed the name to "Stratosphere" the payments went through.

I am advising you that I have also filed a formal legal complaint with the Attorney General's office in the State of Florida. Luckily, my credit union is going to return the money to me. Don't be pressured by the sales tactics, these scammers are good at what they do.
