I contacted Diversified Real Estate almost a year ago regarding a loan modification for my first and second mortgages.  I was told that they could help me with this process  for a cost of $ 3,150.  The company offered a 100% money back guarantee if they were unable to help me so I felt secure.  Well, to date (almost a year later) Diversified Real Estate has done nothing for me except take my $ 3,150 dollars and not contact me anymore once my payment was made.  I called and left several messages for Joe Mastaso (the person I initially spoke to) and also his boss, Dan Depasquale (the company founder).  I've also sent several emails but never receive a reply.  At this point, I'm modifying the mortgages myself and am told by the mortgage companies that they will only work with the lendee and not another company.  So Diversified could have never legally represented me.  So all I want from Diversified Real Estate is my money back.  It was a lot of money to pay to them especially during a time of hardship for my family however at that time I was desperate to save my home.  If I had waited for them to do what I paid them to do, my home would have already been in foreclosure.  This company takes advantage of being during hard times.  They need to be stopped!
