M3 stated they would pre-certify my information before taking any fees. They pre-certified me in one day and charged me $2495 fee. They took 9 months, 3 different applications, to finally come back and tell me that the bank had 'lost my data' and that they would have to re-apply my information again. 

This was after 3 different people handled my case and information, meetings with their General manager and the sales rep that got me into it and multiple emails with the case manager. All of the people within M3 that I had to deal with were incompetent in their knowledge of the loan modification industry. I wanted to end the relationship and requested to get 100% refund. Finally another month later I spoke with Mr. Leland Moglen directly about the contract agreement which they 'translated' to me as stating they have earned 50% of the fee once they "deliver" the modification package, I could not be refunded 100%. A 50% refund would however be sent to me.

30 days later I get a call from another entity that now represents Mr. Moglen and wants me to sign a Settlement Agreement and Release form stating I am happy with their work and will not do anything to hurt their reputation or sue them. They will not remit my 50% refund due from the original contract until this is signed, this is illegal!

I have made a claim to BBB, Mr. Moglen will not respond, I have also made a complaint to the CA State Bar.
