David Morgan & Associates - US National Bank - US National Bank - Quickpayday Threatened with being arrested Winter Garden Florida

I received a call at work from a man named Daniel Page who represented himself as a lawyer for David Morgran & Associates of Winter Garden, FL. He was called on behalf of US NATIONAL BANK and a payday loan he said I took in on 07/27/04 with Quickpayday. He immediately asked me for my lawyer's phone number and fax number so he can fax them information about a defaulted payday loan. He told me that I needed to get my bail money ready because I was going to jail for checkfraud among other things. I told him I didn't have a lawyer but that he should fax me the information. He said he wasn't allowed. He was very nasty. I asked him why if I owed money knowone contacted me and he said they sent me 7 emails. I never received any and if they did send them they probably were in the spam folder which I dont read. He said that wasn't their problem. When I asked why knowone called me he said their not allowed. He said they were going to sue me for $2400.00. I again asked why they would wait 4 years and in that time not contact me he asked me why I keep asking the same stupid question. After talking to him for 15 minutes he finally understood that this was not intentional. This was a $260.00 loan. He asked me if I was interested in taking care of it. I told him that if I owed it I would be willing to make some type of payment arrangement. Then he said it would be $1284.00 because I had to pay 300% interested. That's when I told them that that was against the law and that I was contacting the Attorney General's office. I immediately called them and was referred to the Department of Financial Services. I left a message and I'm going to call them back right now. The lady at the Attorney General's office did tell me that they can't arrest me. They would have to send the paperwork to the State Attorney's office first for them to review. I will do an update after my phone call.
