Freedom Financial Or Freedom Financial And Trust Or Freedom Financial Credit Union Debt Consolidation and Bad Credit Loans Toronto Ontario Canada

I contacted Freedom Financial regarding a loan, on the internet it states the loan is guaranteed regardless of credit. I should have known right away that nothing is guaranteed, unless it comes with a warranty, but anyway. I applied with this company 1/07 I did not hear anything back until 3/07, when one of the reps called me to say I was approved for a $5000 debt consolidation loan. (the catch)

I was told there were 3 ways to obtain these funds. 1. If I had any real property I could use for collateral, 2. If I had a co-signer whos' credit score was 700-1000 or 3. If I could put up 4 payments in advance which totalled $958.00 and this would be collateral that would keep me from making a payment until 7/07.

Of course because of my financial need I agreed to option 3 and was set to go. I was asked to send a copy of drivers license,ssn card, and paycheck stubs,(which I did)in turn I was sent a 10 page contract, stating all the terms.

Something though did not seem right about all of this, so I began general searches on this company that turned up nothing. For instance I could never verify anything about them. Not the address, phone #, not even a profile of the Canadian BBB. I also checked every Canadian business resource I could find but also no avail. I even found businesses on Lakeshore Blvd that also could not verify this business.

To conclude I decided with my better judgement not the be involved any further with the scam so no, I did not lose any money, but the fact that this company preyed on me made me pretty angry so I decided to make others aware of this.
