HFC - Household Finance "RUN PEOPLE...RUN FAR AND FAST AS YOU CAN FROM "HFC"!! CONSUMER PREDITORS!!! Woodridge Illinois

HFC is the epitome of financial lending pariah…preying on consumers financial needs….The “MO” if you is as follows "Keepn talkn about any and everything" until they get all the paperwork signed and you are out of their door!!!!! I had been receiving things in the mail from them over time but never acted on it…however we had a sudden death in the family and had to pay for unexpected funeral cost…I decided to go to HFC for the purposes of convenience and “supposed reputation”…Long & short of it I came to the Woodridge IL location applied for a loan, approved, while going thru the process the agent just kept talking..talking…talking….and talking….and what I recall more that anything is that HFC AT NO TIME told me that this was a "revolving loan" with credit card like terms!!! I explicitly recalled asking “what’s with the credit card APR info” and Joy Thurmond specifically said “Oh…this is just in case you should want to apply for a credit with us in the future this is to make you aware of our rates” which btw were considerably lower than that of the loan….hence “Bait and switch” If Joy Thurmond(Acct exec) had spent more telling me "The truth" of this loan that she was “misrepresenting versus talking about her excitement to be going to Jamaica for vacation in the next upcoming months!!!!!!! I would had under no circumstances signed onto this type of loan. I have now been paying for 3 years come June on this loan and HFC tells me “OH YOU STILL OWE WHAT YOU BORROWED”!!!!!! I’M SORRY I AM AT THIS POINT AT WITS END AND WILL SEEK WHATEVER LEGAL RECOURSE I CAN POSSIBLY FIND FOR FRAUD AND MISREPRESENTATION AGAINST HFC!!!! OH….BTW WHEN I STARTED TO REALLY CHALLENGE THIS LOAN AFETR GETTING THE RUN AROUND…I WENT TO THE STORE….THAT’S WHEN I FOUND IT TO BE CLOSED…CALLED LOOKING FOR THE AGENT SHE NOR THAT TEAM ARE STILL EMPLOYED BY HFC.
