Home Capital - Peach Home Capital Loan ripoff Took money and received no service Out of business Atlanta Georgia

This company was a referal from Lending Tree.com. They were more than happy to charge my credit card for 450.00 dollars, but failed to provide a service for it. I was told on April 10th that my loan was going to underwriting. On April 17th I had still not heard back from them.

I was able to contact my broker via his personel cell phone. And he let me know that on Friday April 13, 2007 his superiors called a meeting. At that time they were told the Company was going out of business. He told me that when he went to his desk to retrive his personal belongings, that the hard drives were removed from the computers and they had to exit the building.

After numerous attempts to contact Home Capital, I was finally able to get through to a recorded messege to tell me that I would be contacted shortly if I had a loan in progress with them.

As of April 25, 2007 I have yet to hear anything. Lending Tree said that they are sorry, but there is nothing they could do. I told them that I would let everyone I come into contact with, know what a great service Lending Tree, and Home Capital did, ( NOT ) for me. And to not use their service.

I have contacted the BBB, and as you might expect, nothing has come of that either. Beware of Lending Tree and Home Capital.
