My SUV is financed thru this company. I was promoted under a new boss, he did not do his job & 6 of us did not get paid for 3 1/2 months. I was going to be late on a loan payment. I called LBAC to see if there was something we could work out. I live 40 miles from city & I need a vehicle for my 3 jobs. They told me to fax a request for a "due date" change, I did. 5 days later, I recieved a form stating that they needed my signature to complete the "due date" change, I immediately faxed it to them.

They called me a week later saying that they couldn't do the due date change because NOW it was too late! They know that they recieved it on the day that I faxed it, but now they would not honor it? I agreed to let them do an auto withdrawl from my checking account on 4-30-04. I called on 4-29-04 before 3pm as they suggested to let them know that I could not make that payment & to purge the checking acct info from their records. Miss Rodriguez was very beligerent, rude, using ghetto language, threatening to repo the vehicle. I talked to her supervisor & she agreed to defer my payments for March & April, with the next payment due on 5-27-04 if I filled out a form & faxed it to them, I did.

On 5-03-04 they did an electronic fund transfer from my checking acct against my permission which put my acct into a negative amount. I found out the next day & when I called Miss Rodriguez, she denied that we had agreed on the 4-30-04 date & said that I had called too late, so the payment was made & they would not credit me. I have since got a 3rd job & need to drive 65 miles to that job, & I am still in training & on minimal salary. They left a voice mail stating that they got my form & all the info they needed. I have recieved phone calls from them on a daily basis in the past and I have gotten suspicious phone calls at 2 am where I get a computer beep for several minutes, & when I try to return the call it is blocked, the very next morning, I get a call from them.

I also saw someone taking photos of the vehicle back before arrangements were made, I reported it to the Sheriff's & called LBAC, they denied it was them, but had to check the NOTES first, & acted strange. I am also filing a complaint with the FTC.
