I found this company thru a local newspaper. The offer sounded very appealing. The answer to my prayers so to speak. I called the number in the add and my loan request was forwarded to another company which turned out to be Providence Financial Services. Just as another woman stated I was contacted Kimberly Watts and was assured that this was a legitimate company and gave me an email address of www.providencefinancialservices.net to view information about there company and assured me again if I had any problems there was a department that I could speak with if I ever had a problem.
I sent a copy of my paystub, Drivers License and a Military ID card as I didn't have a SS Card. Ms. Watts told me once I paid the Security Deposit if you will to secure a Policy in case payment could not be made that I would receive funding in 2 days. Payments were requested to be made at Western Union to Omar Sales. I made 2 seperate payments and kept copies of the receipts for confirmation. I faxed the copy to Providence as proof of payment. I also called to confirm the confirmation number given.
Last week I was called by James McCoy stating my loan would be funded on November 3 and to expect a phone call from him to ensure him monies were received.
Today August 31,2008 I received a phone call stating that some sort of background check was done and he insinuated I was lying on my application. I explained everything regarding my reasons for the loan and he said he would get back to me after he spoke with a few other banks for approval and his board of trusts. Needless to say I had to keep contacting him and could not get a straight answer regarding why I had to pay $500.00 additonal when I already had a contract that was signed with the $1087.00 stating I was approved.
I finally got upset and requested a phone number and contact information so I could speak with someone in the USA. Again I was given the run around. He assured me that he would get me approved and call me back. I never heard from him. I am including additional phone numbers in hopes no one else gets SCAMMED by PROVIDENCE FINANCIAL SERVICES. 876-573-9645, 876-469-7179, 876,424-6476. At this time I am not sure what will happen but I want my money back and or the loan amount that I was approved for and for this company to be acknowledged as the fraud that they are.
