Rockwood Financial Group: Brent Haltway, Frank Baldeze Frank Baldeze and Rockwood Financial Group target prey, get money for loans,disappear Buffalo New York

I began looking for a personal loan online. I received a call from Frank Baldeze, stating he was from Rockwood Financial Group, out of Buffalo, NY, yet his office was in NJ. He faxed me paperwork for a $6,000.00 loan, stating that I would need to send $911.00 up front, covering the 1st 5 months. I sent $800.00 via money gram on June 21,2007 to Joanne Sheely in Ajax, Canada. This is when I got suspicious.

I called Baldeze the next day, and was told I needed to send another $911.00, which would up loan to $8,000.00. I told him that I could not do this, and wanted refund. He said fine, but it would take 15 to 25 business days for it to come. He also stated that I could send copy for money order to be reimbursed. I faxed this 7/7/2007. I called him and left message on7/3/2007. No response. I tried calling and faxing, phone line does not pick up.

I reported this to NYSBBB, the FTC, and am sending complaint to NYS Attorney General's Office. I have also contacted the Mayor's office in Buffalo, NY.

I know that I have been scammed, and lost money I needed for the summer. It appears that there are numerous reports on this Group.
