I was looking for a company to do a payday loan through on the internet. (no-faxing etc) I filled out all the information needed, ie: address, name, phone number etc, along with my bank account info, which in the past has been "standard procedure" for getting a payday loan online through the internet. However, I was charged a fee of $149.95 for another "option" that I did NOT choose, because I was not approved for the payday loan. The other option is a company that approves you for a credit limit of $7500 (not a visa/mc etc) but a "catalog" company to buy things from to re-establish your credit.
