Ventana Consolidation Group is a scam! Providence Rhode Island

I was contacted by email by a Cynthia Brown at extension 320. She emailed me stating I was too approved for a $10,000 loan. I called because I had not applied for any loan but she proceeded to give me the terms of the loan with an interested rate of 7.25% for 48 months. I said I was not really interested but she insisted on sending me loan documents by email for my "review". Well, the loan documents looked like they had been written by a third grader. The word "check" was spelled "cheque" indicating to me this was a company not in the US after all. Then the kicker. They wanted $1500.00 wired to them to secure the loan. Yeah, right. Like I am gonna send anyone money before I have a loan. I called the FTC who indicated that in the US and Canada, it is illegal to ask for any money prior to receiving a loan. It is also illegal to approve a loan over the phone in the US. They take your money and you never see or here from them again. My guess is that they are not even in the US and their website is a front. They also wanted copies of my SS card and bank info. This is obviously a scam and anyone who sends them money is going to loose. Thank goodness I am smarter than they are. I hope "Cynthia" can sleep at night knowing she is scamming people out of hard earned money. Hopefully the FTC will catch up to them and shut them down before they hurt anyone not smart enough to see right through them!
