They Kick you when your down and Customer Serivce is no longer able to help

Wells Fargo Financial, former friend of the middle class, has just joined the ranks of Corporate America.

As I struggled to regain my economic stability, for the past 12 months, I had Wells Fargo Financial calling me (anywhere they could...work,  home, relatives) to setup, double check, triple check and confirm payment agreements.

I complied and got my account in good standing - so I thought.

Now, below the credit limit, they have made the following changes:

1.  26% APR

2.  PAYMENTS CLEAR YOUR BANK BUT DO THE CREDIT IS NOT RELEASED FOR 2 WEEKS AFTER THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY.

3.  FINANCE CHARGE CAUSES OVER LIMIT FEES

4.  CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT WAIVE FEES

5.  CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT SETUP PAYMENTS

6.  CUSTOMER SERVICE CANNOT RELEASE PAYMENTS YOU'VE ALREADY MADE.

7.  CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE PAYMENT SYSTEM.

8.  CUSTOMER SERVICE ANSWERS ARE BASED ON INDIVIDUAL AGENT OPINION AS THEY DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE PAYMENT SYSTEM.

9. FAVORITE CUSTOMER SERVICE PHRASES:
    "IT VARIES"
    "I'M SORRY BUT WE DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE SYSTEM"
    "NOONE CAN HELP YOU"
    "NO I WILL NOT TRANSFER TO MY SUPERVISOR"
    "YOU CANNOT SPEAK TO THE CREDIT DEPARTMENT"
    "I DO NOT KNOW"
    "IT'S NOT OUR PROBLEM THAT YOU TRY TO USE YOUR CARD SO QUICKLY AFTER MAKING PAYMENTS"

10.  I NEVER GET THE SAME ANSWER TWICE.

Bottom line result:

1.  I'll never use WELLS FARGO BANK
2.  I'll be paying off WELLS FARGO FINANCIAL
3.  I'll advise all BUSINESS CUSTOMERS TO TRANSFER FUNDS FROM WELLS FARGO BANK
4.  I'll advise all Consumers to transfer Balances.

THEY ARE TERRIBLE AND KICK YOU WHEN YOUR DOWN - which is sad because they used to be Customer Friendly.

THEY ARE NOT FRIENDLY OR HELPFUL ANYMORE -

BUYER BEWARE!  STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY!  TAKE YOUR MONEY OUT OF THEIR BANK TOO!!!!!!!!!!

"Better Half" did! She canceled her Wells Fargo checking account and opened an account with a bank that is not a publicly held bank. She was also fortunate to have cashed-in all of her stock back in June of 2007, well before the COLLAPSE of our economy and the stock market.

It's too bad that the Mainstream Media didn't do the story about the 'potential' COLLAPSE of our economy, and the 'potential' CRASH of our stock market back in the summer of 2007 when they had all the information that I sent them, wouldn't everyone agree?

The Mainstream Media even had information that came from a Harvard Business Professor. Anyone can 'Google' this- RIP OFF REPORT FUEL FREEDOM INTERNATIONAL MPG CAPS, and go to the 2001 Toyota Tacoma Ripoff Report, & then to the 'Update' entitled- "Blame it on a Lawyer" and read the information from that Harvard Business Professor, if they'd like.

And anyone can 'Google' this- RIP OFF REPORT GM CREDIT CARD SERVICES, and go to Betty's Ripoff Report about her CREDIT CARD INTEREST RATE going from 10.99% to 32.44%, and then read the '1st Update' to her Ripoff Report. Here's a quote from that Update on 9/3/2007, when the Dow Jones was around 14,000 points-

Quote: "The Collapse of the U.S. economy is in its infancy. Get all of your money out of the stock market and cash in your retirement NOW!" - 9/3/2007

*I guess that the Mainstream Media had more important stories to cover back in the summer of 2007, huh?

You seem to have some mis-understandings of how a credit card works and who's money it actually is.  As nothing you described here is any different than other credit cards.  Especially if you were having problems as it appears to be the case.

1. Just be lucky they have not moved you to a higher rate.  Based on what you have described some companies will have you at a 30+ percent interest, lower your credit line, and/or close out your card.

2. It is NOT your money.  For some reason this is a big point that people don't seem to understand.  They are granting you a credit privilege to use THEIR money and pay them back based on the terms YOU agreed to when you got the card.  You paid them back money you had already borrowed, they recorded the payment and it is up to them when they let you have access to THEIR money again.  

3. If finance charges caused an over the limit fee, then you were already near your limit.  Which if this is the case you should not even be trying to use the card again.  It is a credit LIMIT that does not mean that you should use up to that amount.  Ideally you should always try to use no more than half.  If they give you a $1000 credit limit, you need to think you have only $500.  This way not only would your minimum payments be smaller(if you can only make the minimum), but it is impossible to get any over the limit fees.

4. They probably did when you were on the arrangements.  They also may waive them one or two times but after that your chances are slim to none.

5. You originally stated that you were on payment arrangements so were you on payment arrangements or not?

9. If you were on payment arrangements that is usually a different department and it is a very good chance that they do not have access to that.
