Timeshare Nightmare

Pretty much all of the additional trips, cruises added into the timeshare package you have to pay additional for and they have to be used by a certain time frame and you need to rerspond by a certain time frame or you get nothing.

Maintenance fees for the dirst year were to be billed in two seperate payments, I get billed for the full amount and was told late fees would be tacked on in 30 days no matter what the sales people told me. Forget booking and using the same year, it is just not possible even at the home resort. The interest rate went to a ridiculous amount, yet I was told that I could pay with out any additional interest being tacked on. I was screwed from beginning to end, but it is a lesson earned. My only way out is to sell it and I lose anything I put into thus far

Nothing is free

AUTHOR: Hayley - (United States of America)

So basically you get this call saying you get this great deal, This oh so great package. Everything you think your getting there is a hidden charge for. you basically get sucked in to this great deal. To turn around and get rapped for your money. Stay away you will just get suckered into having to pay for something you didn't know you were signing up for in the first place. These people pray on people and hope they don't read fine print items or they hide the papers with all of this information.

Transportation

AUTHOR: Richard - (USA)

same thing!
I told them that I had friends all over, I needed the transportation, thats why the points system attracted me, he "looked some stuff up"... told me OH yes, I could use the points for travel, to rent cars etc... and YES, you can, but I found out later that the points go about 6/10 as far as they promised!!! Believe me, I asked for lots of examples! and it sounded perfect!
