Tree House Motor Inn, Best Western Ripoff Could care less about guests and extremely loud doors that make it impossible to sleep Mount Shasta California

After being awoken repeatedly throughout the night by extremely loud doors slamming the front desk said they could do nothing about it. Sleep interruption complicates my chronic pain so it is a big deal to me. They then called back about 7 minutes later which woke the rest of my family (phones were shockingly loud for anywhere, especially a hotel). The woman said that the manager told her we should leave right then if we didn't like the conditions there. Leave with our two small children the day after Christmas with no where to go with 3-4 feet of snow on the ground and another amazing 4 more feet to fall by morning? We were supposed to pick up and leave?

It would have been comforting if they would have simply stated that they were really sorry it was a problem and if there was something they could do to make our stay more comfortable they would sure try but they didn't. I did sent a complaint to the Best Western website and the franchise wrote me a rude letter rather than being regretful or showing any attempt to sound regretful.

Over all this establishment didn't provide a place that allowed all of their guests a chance to sleep which is the number one purpose of a hotel and the only reason we were there. They were several people staying with very large dogs that roamed the hallways which was also inappropriate I think as I have not seen this anywhere before. The price was $117 for a night of no sleep. Although the fireplace in the lobby was nice to have with all of the snow and the breakfast was fine although only two servers for a jam packed resturaunt the servers were working hard and were friendly. Front desk help were unprofessional and unconcerned. They didn't supply what we paid for and I would not recommend this place.
