The check that I recieved in the mail is on:
Architectural Floor Solutions, LLC
14 Clayton Drive
Guntersville, AL 35976-9196
The check is written on Regions Bank and I intend to take the check to the bank and see if it is a good account. I have also contacted the Guntersvilles Police Department and they say that there is no Clayton Drive there but they did give me the name of a lady and phone number to contact that is attached to this company name. Her name is Glenda Thompson, phone number 256-337-1236. When I called this number I got a generic voicemail that only gave the number not a company name. I will post again when I have any further information.

It may in fact be a good account. That doesn't mean the check isn't stolen or forged. Just because a check clears both banks, doesn't mean that the check is legitimate.
Instead of having your bank verify the account, give the company on the check a call and ask them if it's OK to cash their check. Get their phone number from operator assistance or an online phone book.
And stay out of Western Union. No lottery uses Western Union to collect money. (NO lottery uses third party checks, for that matter.)
