Union Trust Financial - Lottery Draw - Alex Messinier - James Bellamy - John Garfield won the lottery for 250,000 dollars. Sent me a check for 3,800 dollars, wants me to send them 2885.00 ripoff Langley, British Columbia, Calgary, Alberta

I received a letter in the mail stating that I had was one of the third category winners of a Lottery Draw held on Feb. 16, 2007.

Stated that I had purchased a lottery ticket, when in fact I have never bought a ticket.
I was entitled to $250,000.00, payable by bank draft, or certified cheque and will be delivered by special courier.

Enclosed a check of US3800.00 which was deducted from my winnings. The purpose of the check is to pay Tax Clearance Fee.

Wants me to send $2885.00 us dollars by moneygram or Western Union, to a tax agent.

Advised to contact assigned claims agent as soon as I receive this notification to begin claims process.
