Guthy-Renker does promotional shipping for comprehensive multiple vitamins and videos for Mari Windsor's Pilates products. They try to suck you in by offering you extras and tell you that continuous shipments will be made. I specifically requested that no further shipments of any product, after my initial order, be processed. The customer service representative told me he would take care of that, because I was quite adamant.

However, I recently received ANOTHER video and ANOTHER 60-day supply of the vitamins. When I contacted GRC to get a refund, I was told that although they would refund the cost of the actual product, I would still be responsible for the shipping and handling. I didn't screw up! I requested that NO FURTHER PRODUCT BE SHIPPED AT THE OUTSET. This kind of extraneous costs just sets my teeth on edge. These companies should be more aware of their customers' desires. I just want my shipping and handling refunded, along with the cost of the extra products.

I do apoligize for the confusion, but the reps that place the orders cannot set the vitamins and products up as a one time shipping. The representitives that place the orders are also supposed to tell the customers that they cannot refund shipping and handling, except in very rare circumstances. I am one of the reps that currently works on the vitamins customer service line, and receive daily calls exactly like yours described. Please keep in mind though, that the representitive that answers your cancellation call is not the same person that took the original order, and does not deserve to be treated poorly because of the original representitives mistake.
