Am very glad that they never shipped hateful racist propaganda to your child. Just what this world doesn't need is children bringing hate into a new generation. Imagine that-a company that breeds hate being rude to someone? Things that make you go hmmmmmmm.....

Nancy, I agree. I would have been angry, too. Definitely I would take my business elsewhere. And Jenifer, I will assume the "hateful racist propaganda" you speak of is the Confederate flag she requested, since it was never mentioned what was actually on the belt buckle. I find humor in your remark... I am from the South, and I for one LOVE my Confederate flag (in my garage) and my Confederate bumper sticker (on my truck). No, I'm not a REDNECK or a RACIST... I'm just proud to be from the South, and there is nothing wrong with that at all.

You are right. It was just a rebel flag belt buckle. I see no harm in it. We are originally from the mid west and we too have a rebel flag on our bumper of our car. We are not racist.

That is the entire beauty and concept of what I have fought to defend in my 10 years of military service to this country.
We have the right to disagree and have different religions, racial views and heritage. As long as these views do do bring physical harm to anyone.
So what if someone is a redneck and/or a racist? So what if someone flies a confederate flag? These are our rights. We have 100% rights to voice our views, no matter how distasteful to some.
That is called FREEDOM. Unless you ever fought for it, you wouldn't understand.

Being from Portland, and never having been to the south, I cannot fully understand the desire for the confederate flag. I do understand that the flag stands for a part of their culture and is (or perhaps was) not a racist symbol. However, what I think Jennifer is refering to is the fact that Nancy is buying something from the "KLAN" store, and since she is in Pennsylvania, why does she require the confederate flag? Pennsylvania was part of the Union. She's a damn Yankee!
Now, why on earth would anyone buy something from the Klan store if they are not racist. If you want a confederate flag, just go on Ebay.
And for Courtney. There are probably more white supremacists per capita around the Northwest than in Texas or other regions of the South. This place was a hotbed in the 70's and 80's. And, I don't think you're a racist just for being from Texas.
Now look, this whole ripoff is going to become a huge political debate about free speech and all that crap.

what do you think they sell at the Klanstore? Power Ranger souvenirs.
First off, Mom, what kind of ideals are you promoting for your child by letting him go onto such a STUPID site? You are a Great parental role-model.
As they state on their homepage;
Klan Store is your One Stop source for all White Nationalist Products. Ku Klux Klan - Skinhead - Nazi - Confederate - KKK - and the rest, you name it, it is here. Klanstore.com is the ONLY store, you will ever need!
The only store I will ever need?????
You guys are a joke, neither of you know how to spell or use grammatically correct sentence structure. Try using Microsoft Word and then you won't sound so moronically immature.
Instead of spouting hate, why don't you actually do something good for the World?
Like climbing back under the rock that you came from.
You are ridiculous!!!

Sean, I do agree that the same or similar purchase could have been made on EBay. I did cringe when I read some of the things on the Klan Store website. It's a real sticky wicket for Southerners. Sometimes, our pride in where we come from gets mixed up with the hateful actions of the Klan. I do apologize if I got defensive. I didn't intend to start a whole debate on the North and the South; we're all Americans, after all. The bottom line is, the Klan store - because of the hateful remarks on their site - is not somewhere I would want to take my business, but I do agree that they were nasty to Nancy, and that was uncalled for. I am proud of the Confederate flag, but I don't want people to take offense to it. An object only has meaning if we GIVE it meaning, and to me (and everyone I know), it represents pride, not racism and hate. I hope my remarks are taken in the good spirit in which they were intended.

This is to Sean. I now live in PA, I wasn't born here. Calm Down. My question to you is why are you searching for Rippoffs on Klan Store unless you have been on their website and know of them?
I don't find Ebay being the most reputable web site either. I've purchased items there and never received them, of course, that is the sellers responsibility not actually Ebay.
And since you mentioned it I scanned Ebay and quess what? It offers the same items as Klan Store, so what makes Ebay any better? I didn't write to cause a feud. Just wanted to warn other people they may get ripped off. I'm sorry now I even posted it. I quess the American way it to let people learn from their own mistakes.
Lets not continue bickering on North South history. Lets use the Rippoff website as it should be used. Warning protentcial customers of business's you should be beware of.

Nancy,
My rebuttal wasn't directed entirely at you, it was more toward Jennifer to help clarify. The only thing I implied about you is that you're racist. Which, you cannot deny since you are shopping at a white supremacist on-line store.
I wasn't searching for reports about the clan store. I actually look through rip-off reports several times a week, sometimes to see what's going on with certain businesses, and sometimes to offer my feedback (sometimes good, sometimes to lambast idiots).
I think your report about the clan store is good since you were in fact ripped off. But, since I believe in Karma, and being that you were shopping at a store that is connoted as being a racist store operated by individuals full of hate and bigotry, you deserved to be ripped off.
What America doesn't need are people who are contributing to the coffer's of a group of narrow minded Americans who do not wish to see progress but want this country to regress.

I'm sort of shocked to find an argument of this magnitude on here. I wasn't searching for this thread; I stumbled across it because it was on the main page.
As I sit here and type my thoughts, I must contradict myself, because I honestly don't find it shocking. There is still a host of racist people in America. Racist people are created everyday--not just against African Americans (which I am), but not against Arabs, people of Islamic faith, etc. Why am I not shocked; because the "white privilege" still exists; discrimination still exists; classism still exists; colorism still exists; ageism still exists.
I could go on and on, but I won't. It's unfortunate that the world is like this. So many stereotypes created, so much hate, and believe me, it does affect society. People don't get approved for home loans because of racism; people receive substandard education because of racism, blah, blah, blah!
I'll stop here, but you know what's funny, none of us are originally from here (but the Native Americans), we're all immigrants, REMEMBER THAT!

I will not dignify the last person here with any type of response other then, your obvious ignorance, is shocking but not surprising, and it has nothing to do with your racial origins. I am familiar with the store in question. I too purchased a "rebel" flag from them. Yes you can get one from ebay, made in taiwan, that is stiff, and is of rather poor quality(I know I have a few, they have never been flown, but have all begun to fall apart within weeks), the ones available on that website are of high quality materials and made in America, they support our own country's working men and women(of all ages and races thank you very much).
My dealings with them were pleasant, and I have heard of many other pleasant dealings with them, however I have heard an equal number of unpleasant dealings with them. As for the "klanstore" part of which one or two have mentioned, the store is two part. The klanstore is not the actual store itself, it is if I remember correctly called rebelstyle, and klanstore is something they use as an easier way to get money from those who would shop somewhere like that. Money is all green and all spends the same(perhaps part of the problem of scumbag companies?).
Also if I remember correctly this store is now out of business. For multiple reasons, one of which is new management/ownership that can no longer keep popular products in stock from suppliers, higher cost of merchandise from more business being moved overseas, and nobody is willing to pay for a quality product anymore, and to top it all off, yes the bad customer service. It's a shame that the new management had pretty decent customer service, they took over late 06 or early 07, I do not remember. The only reason I remember any of this, is it was the loer priced of only two sources to get a high quality American made bedset of the rebel flag motif which my wife REALLY wanted. It however was always out of stock. I was put on a mailing list for when this item made it in stock again, and to hold one for me. I then got a letter about the going out of business.
There is a difference between the confederate flag and the rebel flag, one has 12 stars and the other has 13. In general it is widely held that the rebel flag which is identical except for the number of stars, were rebels of the confederacy, traitors if you will. Half of my family comes from Arkansas, it is part of my heritage, it is not and never has been a symnbol of hate. The civil war was not about slavery, or about hate, or racism for that matter. It was politics, economics, and tyranny. History is written by the victors, remember that part. Either way, it is a part of my Heritage, every bit as much as the Flag of the Irish Republic. My wife simply likes the design.
We are both "rednecks" and someone here used that like a derogatory term, and I find that highly offensive. I assume that due to all the jokes and propaganda, it's the same tired, rednecks are ignorant and toothless uneducated morons. Well I am toothless, thanks to heredity, but that is soon to be taken care of. I am far from an ignorant, uneducated moron. My IQ is such that it is not worht posting as you would probably call me a liar.
Suffice to say I graduated highschool at the age of 16 and continued on for a degree in electronics engineering and then another in network administration. I know multiple programming languages, and can build websites using nothing more then notepad in windows or vi in linux, I do not need to use an editor that is point and click such as dreamweaver or frontpage. I have worked for several of the major IT companies in this world, and a couple of large internet providers in the technical area. I have also written technical documentation and troubleshooting and knowledgebase guides.
Yes I drive a lifted 4x4, and yes it has multiple rebel flag stickers on it. Yes I own a firearm, I own 5 of them in fact, and am getting more. Yes I carry them, and yes I am legal to do so. Yes I go hunting, and fishing, and all that other redneck type stuff. I am a redneck, and I am proud of it. I am also considered by the FBI and local and state police to be an upstanding citizen. So I find your derogatory term of "redneck" regardless of the type or derogatory intent, be it ignorance, or racist, to be extremely biased, predjuduced, and offense.
To the rest, some of us prefer higher quality merchandise made in America, as opposed to cheap garbage made overseas, even if it costs a few extra bucks, but at least I won't have to replace it on a regular basis. Oh yeah, my truck is Japanese, as are half of my electronics(simply because I cannot afford German electronics), and they are not made in China, Taiwan, or Singapore. Good things these people are CAPABLE of manufacturing, but not most of the crap they send to us.

So someone has been to college? Big deal. So have I. I have a fair number of patents (USA & EU) to show for it. Being to college has nothing to do with being a hate-monger.
I don't do computer programming and web pages, either. I had teams of Ph.D.'s do that for me.
A free country permits its citizens to engage in most activities that do not directly disadvantage other citizens. But just because you can do something does not make engaging in that activity a good idea.
Germany forbids any activities that include Nazi symbols. Should we admire the USA for tolerating the use of Klan symbols and the Confederate flag? In the end, both sets of symbolism are aimed at certain minorities. You would probably never understand the impacts of these practices until you are on the receiving end.
And yes, I am as white as fresh snow. But I wasn't raised to hate. This upbringing has saved me a lot of wasted effort and money as it opened a lot of advantageous doors.
Have a wonderful day.
