Received a wonderful letter telling me that had "been accepted as a new Secret Society member." That I was "truly one of the lucky few." All I had to do was fax back the application form and I would recieve the secrets to health, wealth, and a fabulous world! But I'd better hurry because I was rapidly approaching cycle two of my life. (For some reason these cycles are affected by Fridays, wonder if the secret takes off on the weekends....)

Anyway I faxed my application back and went on about my business not thinking much about it. Well today, I received a packet in the mail that had a cover letter stating my Member Number, my Order Number, my Manuscript Number, and the statement "This is not a bill". Then the letter goes on to congratulate me about my membership and welcomes me to my "new world."

Then in the second paragraph it states that the "highly-guarded Secret Society's Inside Secrets" in the 1200-page heirloom manuscript is ready to be shipped for on $135.00 plus $4.45 shipping and handling. It does state that "Secret Society members may return any installment within 90 days for a full refund."

Guess that means if we paid for it, used it for 90 days, and with our photographic memory and all of our accumulated wealth would never need it again we could return it and get our money back. But wait.... it we were fabulously wealthy within 90 days we wouldn't care about $139.95 would we?

What I thought was really interesting was this booklet that came with the packet of information was touting information from some unknown book that is supposedly 2300 years old. Hmmmm..... would he be referring to the Bible?

I can't quite get a grip on what this guy is trying to sell other than snake oil so guess I'll just have to pass this by. Maybe my ship will come in some other way but not by this method!!!
