I have never experienced such AWFUL service from a company in my life! Anyone that's considering doing business with these people should really re-consider. I thought it was just me & now as I read this stuff, it infuriates me to know that they treat people like this & get away with it!

I recieved a notice from the homeowners association where I rent from BC (which stands for BULL CRAP!) dated 7/24/06 stating that I was notified 6/23/06, 7/11/06 & now 7/24/06 and that I was being assesed a $50.00 fee for an untrimmed tree that hadn't been taken care of. The notice said that I had 2 weeks to trim the tree (even though this was the 1st and only notice I recv'd.)

I called the Homeowner's Association & they said the notices were sent, but because I rent they were sent to the owner and/or property mngmt co.
I called & set up a landscaper to come & cut the tree but when I pulled up to my house a couple days later, there were men cutting my tree. I asked who sent them & they said Brewer Caldwell.

I called & left a few messages for Rustin Caldwell (maintenance dept) but never recv'd a call back.
I then get a "notice of intent to terminate rental agreement for non-pymt of rent" and that I owe all these late fees and processing fees. I send my rent early every month thru bill pay online, so called the bank & they confirmed the check was sent early & said they would call them and straighten it all out.

I got a call from my bank the next day stating that they had left 7, yes 7, messages and nobody from BC would call them back. I called BC & had to insist (with MUCH resistance from the operator) that I would hold until someone talks to me as this is where my kids and I live and it was now Fri and I was to be evicted Monday but nobody would call me back!

I finally got someone on the phone & found out that they had my check all along but wouldn't deposit a "partial pymt" (due to all the fees from the tree trim & everything I owed way more than my normal rent amount). They did reverse the late and processing fees & agreed to deposit my rent check.

Rustin then said he will check into the tre trimming thing to "see what they could do" He told me the charge was $185.00 for the tree and agreed that it was way to much. I explained that the landscaper I hired for my front & back yards charged me $150.00 but they are trying to charge $185. for 1 tree trim...He said that he will call me back as he sees that is ridiculous...

Fri the the 15 I get served court papers that I am to appear in court on Wed. and am responsible for all attorney fees, late fees, blah blah blah as well as the unpaid rent.
Saturday I get a slip for certified mail from BC. I'm really scared at this point.

I called the attorney's ofc. Monday morning & was informed to call BC, oh brother...I call BC again & of coarse can't reach anyone, I left a couple messages for accounting & for Rustin. Finally I talked to the operator & again INSISTED that I had to talk to someone as this is now a legal matter. I get in touch with Carrie (who is a temp) & she says that she will make sure they call the attorneys and let them know my debt is paid (although she did inform me that I still have the tree fee to pay.)

I called a couple of hours later to verify they were called & it surprisingly was so I left another message for Rustin to call me as I want the tree fee taken care of before I have rent due again & they show me under-paid.
We'll see if he ever calls me back. I'll call every day a couple times as usual, cause I have nothing else to do right?
I see that Chris from BC has postd some responses to these postings and said that BC returns calls & e-mails in 24 hours...Totally not true...This has been going on since July and is still not resolved. I think I have left at least 20 messages there and it's only after I am a total jerk & won't take no for an answer that they get me someone on the phone, but even then I held for 53 minutes. Nobody from BC has EVER called me thru this whole thing!

It is obvious to me that they don't play fair & try to make a buck at any cost with nonesense late fees and have no follow thru at all.

Stay Tuned, I still need to resolve the ridiculous tree fee that never should have been charged as I still had 2 weeks to take care of it.
